The things I realized, observed and learned after reading 'Godan' by Munshi Premchand.
Godan is considered a milestone in Hindi Literature. The novel by Munshi Premchand was first published in 1936. I am trying to figure out what made me buy Godan and a few other Hindi novels by Munshi Premcahnd. The love for the Hindi language is obviously the most significant reason. But, apart from that it is the name of Munshi Premchand and interest to explore what made him and his novels so famous. I wanted to know, how people used to think, the structure of society, the life of common people in those days, and what things changed for common people. It took me around one month to complete this, reading a few pages daily. It was the middle of the story which took my genuine interest to finish this.
